Edesur Dominican launched mobile offices “Movisur“in remote communities of six provinces of the region South of the country, with the purpose of facilitating the customers the payment of the electric bill and requesting services, eliminating the need to travel long distances.
The provinces beneficiaries of this initiative are Barahona, Pedernales, Independencia, Bahoruco, Peravia and San José de Ocoaaccording to the institution’s press release, shared this Tuesday.
Through the mobile unitsthe customers can perform payments with Bono Luz cards and in cash, request new contracts, submit claims and carry out verifications related to the electrical service.
The distribution company reported that “Movisur“operates in remote locations where there are no Express Points nor Commercial Offices. Among the municipalities attended Polo, La Ciénaga, Las Salinas, Cristóbal, Villa Jaragua, La Descorta and Postrer Río are located, as well as municipal districts such as Los Patos, Quita Coraza, Bahoruco, Fondo Negro, El Limón, Las Minas, El Higuito and La Guazara.
In the province Peraviathe mobile offices travel through communities such as Villa Fundación, El Sifón, Los Tumbaos, Quija Quieta, Carretón, Santa Rosa, Calderas, Arroyo Hondo, Salinas, Villa Sombrero, Las Carreras, Sabana Buey, Boca Canasta, Nizao, Pizarrete, El Fundo, Pueblo Nuevo, Escondido, Río Arriba and Luis Marcano.
On the other hand, in San José de Ocoathe units are installed in locations such as Sabana Larga, Las Auyamas, Nizao, La Ciénaga, El Naranjal, Los Tramojos, Los Corosos, El Pinar, El Bello Sobrante, San Rafael, San Antonio, San Luis and Los Come Dulce.
This initiative is part of the program “Mobile Collection“, through which Edesur Dominican seeks to strengthen customer service and, at the same time, optimize collections, benefiting hundreds of families in vulnerable and hard-to-reach communities.
