Edesur expands prepaid service points

Edesur reports power outage will impact several sectors of the DN

The Southern Electricity Distribution Company (Dominican Edesur) announced this Monday the incorporation new and more accessible charging points for users of electric service in prepaid mode, starting January 1, 2026.

Through a statement, the company indicated that, with this initiative, the company exceeds one thousand charging points available in six demarcations of its concession area, strategically located to facilitate access and reduce customer travel times.

Point locations

The points will be enabled in pharmaciesfull, minimarketssupermarkets, wineries, bookstores, banks and other commercial establishments, in addition to the commercial offices of Edesurexpress points and mobile units.

Edesur explained that the expansion of charging alternatives is part of its commitment to improve the quality of service, incorporate technological solutions innovative and optimize efficiency in the supply of electrical energy for its customers.
