Edesur dismantles illegal connections in Barahona

Edesur The Dominican Republic reported this Sunday that it disconnected users who were stealing energy in the Villa Central municipal district of the province, Barahona.

In a press release, Edesur He said that his brigades removed illegal splices from electrical cables of six users, five of whom promised to regularize their status.

In the operation, which had military and police support, nearly 70 meters of cables that were used for energy theft were seized.

After the inspection, the Department of Electrical Networks of Edesur began a day to regularize the service in the area, as part of the efforts to reduce losses and promote safe connections.

The company stated that it will continue with the supervision work, while urging users to catch up with the payment for their contracts.
