Edenorte Dominican Republic announces that the repowering of the Bonao Per substation was successfully completed and the electrical service has been completely normalized in the region. This intervention has included the incorporation of a new 28 MVA transformer, which is added to the existing 35 MVA transformer, with the aim of alleviating overload and improving energy distribution.
The completion of this project marks an important milestone for the capital municipality of Bonao and its municipal districts. The addition of the new transformer has allowed the substation’s capacity to be optimized, significantly reducing outages.
