Edeeste normalized more than 20 thousand clients and dismantles connections

The Eastern Electricity Distribution Company (Edeeste) reported that during the month of January of this year it managed to normalize a total of 20,950 clients and eliminate some 2,888 direct connections in various sectors within its concession area.

Edeeste pointed out that through the Loss Management Directorate were executed 34,524 inspectionsmeaning these have a great impact in the face of operational actions that seek the regularization of supplies and the energy recovery.

In that same order, through a press release, the distribution company indicated that it was possible to normalize other 1,635 clients within mini projects executed by the entity with the support of international cooperation.

The distributor added that each of the executions carried out during the month of January allowed for strengthening the technical and commercial control of the distribution system, being supported by the subrecord deletionstechnical and commercial inspections, as well as direct corrections in irregular supplies.

Also, the company stated that as part of the work carried out during the first month of the year, 7,057 minutes by irregularitythus contributing to the strengthening of the legal and technical basis that allows the correction of consumption and the energy recovery not registered.

Impact on the energy recovery

According to the electricity company’s estimates, the more than 34 thousand inspections resulted in a total energy recovery of 593,232 kWhpositively impacting the financial sustainability and operational Edeeste.

Edeeste reiterated its commitment to operational efficiencythe legality and sustainability of the electrical system, reaffirming that these actions are essential to guarantee a reliable service and fair for all users.
