The Eastern Electricity Distribution Company (Edeeast) left running the transformer T01 of the Electrical Substation César Nicolás Penson, five days after fire in said terminal.
The company reported that the commissioning was completed on Saturday afternoon, as part of the rehabilitation work at the facility, where its T02 transformer burned last Monday.
After the restoration, the staff of Edeeast normalized the circuits through said substation.
After the fire that occurred five days ago, electricity had been supplied through the Electrical Substation of El Despacho, owned by Edeeastand the Substation of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), belonging to the Southern Electricity Distribution Company (Edesur).
Currently, all the circuits in the Gascue area are energized through the César Nicolás Penson transformer T01.
By giving the information Edeeast thanked the population for the “understanding, patience and calm” during this “unpredictable conditions event“.
“We will continue working to improve the conditions of each of its substations and circuits, in order to make the service to citizens more efficient,” reiterated the energy distributor.
Last Monday there was a fire in the electrical substation of the Eastern Electricity Distribution Company (Edeeast), located in the Gascue sector, which affected seven circuits and left sectors in the metropolitan area of Santo Domingo and Haina without electricity.
