Edeeste improves public lighting in San Pedro de Macorís

The Company Distributor of Electricity del Este (Edeeste) reported this Friday that the public lighting in the municipality of San Pedro de Macorís.

He indicated through a press release that during the execution of the project In Zone 3, important interventions were carried out in strategic points of the city, with the installation of a total of 189 luminaries and the placement of 3,900 meters of triplex cable in various locations.

Zones benefited

He explained that among the impacted areas are the Photocontrol Punta Pescadora, where 24 were installed luminariessignificantly improving lighting in this traffic area.

  • At the entrance of the municipality, in the area of ​​the Hostel24 were also placed luminariesoptimizing the security and visibility at the main access to the municipality.
  • In it high San Pedro de Macorís-Consuelo placed 51 luminaries and 1,400 meters of triplex cable, ensuring a coverage more efficient on a key road in the province.
  • In it high San Pedro de Macorís-Ramón Santana, 37 were installed luminaries and 1,000 meters of triplex cable, positively impacting the connectivity vial. Finally, the high San Pedro de Macorís-La Romana received 53 luminaries and 1,500 meters of triplex cable, contributing significantly to the security night in the area.

Investment

Edeeste specified that the investment total of this project amounts to 3,815,593.30 pesos, “a figure intended to guarantee a public lighting more efficient and functional for the citizens of San Pedro de Macorís”.

He highlighted that these actions are part of the entity’s comprehensive plan to guarantee a service electric qualitypromoting the security citizen and improving quality of life of the residents of San Pedro de Macorís.

“With these improvements, we reaffirm our commitment to the development sustainable and the well-being of communitiesensuring that the public lighting be efficient, reliable and aligned with the needs of its users,” Edeeste emphasizes.
