The East Electricity Distributor Company (EDEATES) concluded a set of improvement work in the public lighting system in different sectors of the Santo Domingo province and the National District, as part of its commitment to the security and quality of life of Its users.
During this month of January 2025, Edeeste has executed important tasks that included the installation, replacement and normalization of luminaires, as well as the change to LED technology and the general maintenance of lighting on the main, residential and urbanizations lighting.

In total, 993 luminaries were put into operation, distributed between sectors such as the Ozama, Gazcue, Los Restauradores Avenue, Ecological Avenue, the San Felipe de Villa Mella road and the Regina Residential, among others. These works also allowed to meet 51 specific applications made by the communities, responding in a timely manner to the needs of the users.
The amount invested in these works amounts to RD $ 12,364,702.63, which reflects the continuous commitment of edete in guaranteeing adequate lighting in public spaces.
With these efforts, Edeeste reaffirms its mission of contributing to the welfare and safety of its customers, while advancing towards a more modern and sustainable public lighting system.
