Similarly, the official clarified that the business sector has never proposed to eliminate the benefits or rights acquired by the workers of the legislative piece.
“Neither the businessmen never talked about eliminating the unemployment,” he said.
He is confident that senators will approve the reform
It should be noted that yesterday the Minister of Labor was confident that the Senate of the Republic will approve, in second reading, the reform to the Labor Code (Law 16-92)since the current dates from the last century.

Eddy Olivares also pointed out that the current Labor Code has a ruling in the design of the procedure, which has allowed, regardless of the amount of the conviction, a former employee can seize and take assets of the company without prior notification.
