The state oil company will review the modification of its Bylaws in an Extraordinary Assembly.
The state oil company Ecopetrol announced the call for a extraordinary meeting of the General Assembly of Shareholderswhich will take place on next November 11, 2025 at 8:00 am, in the auditorium Corferias, in Bogotá.
The meeting, which will be broadcast live on the company’s website, will have as its central point the modification of the Bylaws of Ecopetrol SA.
“The main item on the agenda will be the consideration and approval of the modification to the Bylaws”the company reported.

The meeting will be held in person and will have an electronic voting mechanism. Ecopetrol asked shareholders to attend with their smart mobile devicesalthough he clarified that those who do not have one will be able to exercise their vote through an alternative mechanism.
“We want ensure the participation of all shareholdersso we have arranged in-person, virtual and technical support channels during the day,” the company indicated.
The shareholders who cannot attend in person may be represented by written power. Ecopetrol recalled that these documents must meet the requirements of article 184 of the Commercial Code and can be downloaded on the official website www.ecopetrol.com.co/asamblea-ext2025.
Likewise, the company emphasized that directors and employees may not represent actions other than their own, while they are in office.
“We will give Strict compliance with regulations that prevent unauthorized or unsafe practices in the representation of shareholders,” said Ecopetrol, referring to External Circular 006 of 2025.

One of the points of this extraordinary assembly could also be the official designation of the president of the board of directors of Ecopetrol. Recently the oil company reported on the resignation of Mónica de Greiff Lindo in her position as president and independent member of the board of directors.
According to the internal regulations, the vice president of the board, Ángela María Robledo Gómezimmediately assumed the presidency of the governing body while a new appointment is finalized.
The Mónica de Greiff’s departure occurs at a key moment for the oil companywhich faces discussions about the purchase of Monomersthe possible gas import from Venezuela and the sale of its stake in the Permian, in the United States.
