The consul General César Cedeño said that the exit of Dominican labor would have a negative impact on the island’s economy.
“Dominican labor in Puerto Rico is fundamental. I know constructions that have stopped, this creates a negative impact on the economy, ”said the diplomat during an interview in the program El Día.
Cedeño said that the Dominican community in that country contributes to its development, and also stand out in areas as important as tourism, working and directing restaurants.
“They are mostly good and hardworking people who leave our country to look for a new horizon of progress and many do it,” I said.
