Economist Rolando Gordón explains the bankruptcy of Silicon Valley Bank

In an interview with Radio Panama, the economist Rolando Gordón, dean of the Faculty of Economics, explains what happened in the bankruptcy of the Silicon Valley Bank and if this would affect our country in the near future.

“We would be affected if measures were not taken to secure savers’ money, because there is a reality, banks work with trust, the bank works because people trust it and take the money to deposit it there, in the event of Panama there are currently no repercussions but we do have a banking system that can happen, because this is not a matter that I am safe,” said Gordon
