The rector of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), Editrudis Beltranreceived a proposal from the director general of the State Economic Canteens, Edgar Felix Mendezin order to sign an agreement to supply food for the students of the Academy.
During a meeting held in the rector’s office, the director of the economic dining rooms said that the institution he directs is in the best conditions to collaborate with the Primate of America.
Rector thanks gesture
Rector Beltrán expressed his gratitude for the gesture expressed by the government official in favor of thousands of students who are studying at the academic institution.
He noted that the university stands in a position to facilitate the Economic dining rooms of the State, areas that have the Regional University Centers of BonaoBarahona and Puerto Plata.
He specified that these facilities could be used by the canteens to provide services to the populations of those cities. He stressed that he fully accepted Feliz Méndez’s suggestion to establish and sign a collaboration agreement between the dining rooms and the Academy.

In that sense, they reached the conclusion of meeting again to officially sign that pact.
While the director of the Economic dining rooms, Féliz Méndez, stated that this institution can producefrom Monday to Saturday, next semester’s lunch and dinner for the students of the Primate of America.
He highlighted his interest in collaborate with the management Master Beltrán, so that Uasdian students can receive their food for free.
“We have come to your office, Master Editrudis Beltrán, with the firm disposition to offer our collaboration so that the State Economic Canteens supply the feeding of the students of our beloved UASD”, said the government official.
Also, he proposed that your institution signs a collaboration agreement mutual to benefit the university population.
Rector Beltrán was assisted by the officials Jesús Andújar, Nicolás CruzEdita Rodríguez and Modesto Suriel López.
Instead, Féliz Méndez was accompanied by sub administrators Ariel Moreta and Luz Estrella.
