Economic activity grows 0.9% in November

By activity, the tertiary advanced 2%, while the primaries added 1.1% and the secondary ones fell 0.9% at an annual rate, according to the global indicator of the economic activity (IGAE).

Within secondary activities, the generation, transmission, distribution and marketing of electricity, water supply and natural gas due to pipelines to the final consumer, the progress, with a growth of 2.9%, followed by manufactures, which added 0.5% . Mining and construction retreated 4.5% and 4.4%, respectively.

Among tertiary activities, professional, scientific and technical services led growth with an advance of 9.9%, followed by health and social assistance services (5.2%), retail trade ((4.7%) and transport, mails and mails storage (4.4%).

At a monthly rate, the IGAE grew 0.4%, with advances in tertiary activities (0.5%) and secondary (0.1%), but with a setback in the primary (1.4%).
