At an annual rate, the economic activity of Mexico rose by 2.7% in December in relation to the same month of 2021. The expected annual variation of secondary activities is an increase of 1.2% and of tertiary activities, of 2.8%, for December 2022.
The Timely Indicator of Economic Activity (IOAE) estimates in advance the performance of the economy before the publication of the IGAE general index, a benchmark for monthly GDP.
Estimates show that in the fourth quarter of the year, the Mexican economy would have had a growth of 0.4%.
