This mobility scheme is made up of 9,300 units and 689 stations that provide coverage in the municipalities of Benito Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, Miguel Hidalgo, Coyoacán, Álvaro Obregón and Azcapotzalco, the system highlighted on its social networks.
Ecobici added that on August 16 it reached the total coverage planned in its last stage of expansion.
The cycle stations are equipped with solar panels to take advantage of renewable energy, a touch screen and an integrated mobility card reader.
With an annual membership plan, users can take unlimited rides of up to 45 minutes each, for about 1.50 Mexican pesos per day. There are also plans for one, three and seven days.
How to register for Ecobici?
To access the public bicycle system in Mexico City, it is necessary to register on the website https://ecobici.cdmx.gob.mx/ with the Integrated Mobility Card. There are plans ranging from one day of use to an annual fee.
According to their official website, when you register in the system you have unlimited trips of 45 minutes each, from Monday to Sunday, from 5:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
