Ecarri insists that as long as there is more integration in the region, there will be more democracy

The leader of Alianza del Lápiz, Antonio Ecarri, believes that Venezuela has isolated itself from the world and that this factor aggravated poverty in the country. For this reason, he assures that we must overcome the political confrontation and leave education out of those discussions.

Antonio Ecarrinational president of the Alianza del Lápiz party and presidential candidate for that political organization, held a new meeting in Spain with the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) to review the progress regarding the plan to open offices of that body in Venezuela.

In Ecarri’s opinion, to the extent that integration in Latin America becomes stronger, there will be more democracy in the region and less poverty.

In the same way, he asserted that it is important to leave the educational issue out of politics and move forward in building an economic and educational model throughout the country; what is a symbol for the reunion of all Venezuelans and of Venezuelans with the world.

Ecarri believes that Venezuela has isolated itself from the world and that this factor aggravated poverty in the country, just as it did not lead to the removal of President Nicolás Maduro from power. In this sense, he assured that it is through education the way to “save” the country from scourges such as violence, hunger and poverty.

He warned that the country must overcome the political confrontation in order to reach a more equal society.

“If we continue with our arms crossed, a definitive catastrophe for the Venezuelan educational system is coming. This would make Venezuela the poorest and most violent country in the entire region. You have to act as soon as possible! ”, He stressed when he left the meeting.

TO mid-January, Antonio Ecarri toured Europe and included the OEI in his tour, to whom he reiterated on that occasion the need for Venezuela to rejoin that body.

“We need to get hunger out of the classroom. That is why our objective with the national dialogue called by the Government cannot be other than to reintegrate Venezuela into the OEI, as we have proposed to the National Executive. We have achieved a great step”. he pointed out at the time.
