The Brazilian Hospital Services Company (Ebserh) opened, this Monday (5), the registration period for the public competition for the medical field, which runs until 11:59 pm on January 30th.
Interested parties must register at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) websitethe examining board hired to carry out the competition.
THE notice is published in Official Gazette of the Union this Monday.
Vacancies
The competition will select 152 professionals to work in federal university hospitals managed by the state-owned company and will also form the reserve register.
Vacancies are distributed across 96 specialties:
- general surgery;
- gynecology and obstetrics;
- pediatrics;
- anesthesiology;
- cardiology;
- medical clinic and
- oncology, in addition to others defined according to the needs of each hospital.
Starting salaries vary depending on the working day:
- 24 hours per week: R$ 11,464.35
- 40 hours per week: R$ 19,107.31
Registration fee
The registration fee is R$180, which must be paid by February 2nd.
People with active registration in the federal government’s Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico) and bone marrow donors in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health will be able to request exemption from paying the registration fee until Wednesday (7).
The candidate registered with CadÚnico must complete the application for exemption from registration payment at the Fundação Getulio Vargas website. The bone marrow donor candidate must electronically send their identity document and the document issued by the collection unit proving that they are a bone marrow donor registered at state blood centers.
Quotas
Regarding the reservation of places, the notice increases the quota for black and brown people by 5%. Therefore, the list of vacancies offered will have the following reserves:
- 25% for black candidates (black and brown).
- 10% for people with disabilities (PwD).
- 3% for indigenous candidates.
- 2% for quilombola candidates (new).
Candidates competing for vacancies reserved for people with disabilities will be subjected to the document analysis procedure to characterize their disability. And black, indigenous and quilombola candidates will be subjected to the documentary verification procedure complementary to self-declaration.
Evidence
The objective tests will be applied simultaneously in 42 municipalities in all 27 capitals of the federation units, on March 29. The stage is eliminatory and qualifying.
According to the notice, the objective tests will have 60 multiple-choice questions.
The definitive result of the objective test will be announced on May 11th.
The candidate’s qualifications and professional experience will also be considered for classification. This stage evaluates academic training (doctorate, master’s degree, specialization) and length of service in the area.
Convocation
Only those approved in the competition will be called after the reserve register for positions in previous competitions in force has been exhausted.
The current public competition, approved in June 2025, invited more than 1,240 medical professionals.
Approved and classified candidates will be hired under the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) regime, with a 90-day trial contract.
The validity period of this public tender is one year, counting from the date of publication of the approval of the final result, and may be extended once for the same period.
