He was published this Friday (15), in the Official Gazettethe preliminary poll of the qualification of the public call TV Brazil, from Company Brasil Comunicação (EBC). The list contains the names of the proponents who had their registrations validated and is available for consultation on the website TV Brasil Selection.
From the date of publication, participants have 5 business days to file funds against disqualification decisions or as to the framework of quotas provided for in the notice, such as regional induction, projects with cis women or trans people and dedicated companies.
The funds must be presented exclusively through the EBC electronic system, until 11:59 pm on August 22, as available on the selection website.
The notice received 1,676 registrations of all 27 Federation Units. Of these, 1,292 proposals were qualified, 183 were disqualified and 201 disregarded because they were test forms.
All quotas of the notice had a considerable number of qualified registrations:
- 440 proposals in regional induction quotas for the North, Northeast and Midwest regions;
- 249 proposals in regional induction quotas for the southern region or to the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo;
- 279 proposals with cis women or trans people in script, direction or production;
- 233 proposals of dedicated companies, being 188 of dedicated with black people in the corporate framework.
The public call represents the largest investment ever made in content for the public broadcaster, with R $ 110 million for hiring at least 35 independent productions, including films and series, in the following lines:
- Children’s – Serial Works | 26 episodes | 7 to 13 minutes
- Children’s Youth – Serial Works | 13 episodes | 26 minutes
- Nature and Environment – Serial Works | 8 to 13 episodes | 26 or 52 minutes
- Women’s Football – Telefilm and serial works
- Society and Culture – Serial Works | 8, 13 or 26 episodes | 26 or 52 minutes
- Production and finishing of feature films-feature film with release in movie theaters
- Novel – Serial Works | 30 to 60 episodes | 52 minutes
The selected works will be exhibited on TV Brasil programming and at least 167 TV stations that are part of the National Public Communication Network (RNCP).
