After two shifts, the Award +admired black and black journalists from the Brazilian press 2025 announced, this Friday (3), the professionals and vehicles that will be honored in this edition.
THE Brazil Communication Company (EBC) celebrates the presence of two professionals among the winners: TV Brasil host Luciana Barreto and EBC’s digital journalism manager, Juliana Cézar Nunes.
The result is the result of a vote open to the public, in which voters could choose up to five professionals per category, attributing scoring according to the order of preference.
Organized by Journalists & Cia, in partnership with Neo Monndo websites, 1 Reto Chat and Rede JP – Black Journalists, the award reaches the third edition with record of participation.

To the EBC journalists are part of the list of 50 +admired black and black journalists from the Brazilian press 2025alongside prominent names Like Zileide Silva, Maju Coutinho and Aline Midlej, all from TV Globo.

The awards ceremonywhich will reveal the top 10 +admired journalists of the year, the most voted in the five regions of the country, in addition to the highlights between vehicles and special honors, Occurs on November 10, in the City Council of São Paulo.
Other recognitions
In addition to the nomination in the +admired black and black journalists, the EBC also stands out in other awards of the same nature.
At the Einstein +admired health, science and well-being award, Patrícia Serrão, Paula Laboissière and Tâmara Freire are part of the top 25 +admired journalists of the yearwhich in this edition will have 26 professionals, because of a draw.
THE Brazil agency figure on the list of most admired news agencies in the country and the Videbula podcastfrom the National radiodivides the top 3 +admired in the audio category.
The relevance of EBC in the journalistic scenario was also reinforced with the presence of three professionals among the 100 +Admired Brazilian journalists from 2025: Luciana Barreto, Patrícia Serrão and Raíssa Saraiva. The edition recorded almost 30,000 votes, consolidating the recognition of the work of the company’s journalists.
