Sao Paulo consumers intend to spend $ 250 on average with Easter holiday purchases. According to Sebrae-SP research, Sales should benefit 61,000 small businesses in the state.
The Sebrae-SP Indicators Research, made with the Seade Foundation’s collaboration, points out that 41,000 trades are individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs) and another 20,000 are micro and small businesses.
Easter eggs lead small business sales, cited by 74% of respondents. Following are chocolates in general (59%) and ingredients and drinks for lunch and dinner meetings, such as fish and olive oil.
The option for small enterprises is due to the prices practiced by this segment of the market, according to 37% of respondents. Product quality and offers later, respectively, with 33% and 27% of the mentions.

Sebrae-SP research also reveals that the amount spent on this Easter in small businesses should be 42% higher compared to last year’s holiday. Already 32% said they will spend values similar to 2024, and 16% should have a cheaper Easter than the past.
According to Sebrae-SP consultant Pedro João Gonçalves, the survey shows that, of those who want to spend more on Easter this year, 48% believe that this increase will be around 5% and 10%.
