The magnitude 5.4 tremor was recorded at 6:36 p.m. this Tuesday, July 12, in Omate, province of General Sánchez Cerro (Moquegua), the Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP) reported on its social networks.
According to the institution’s report, the telluric movement occurred 41 kilometers west of Omate, province of General Sánchez Cerro, with a depth of 18 kilometers.
