Dynasty building apartment catches fire

An apartment in the Dynasty building, located in Plaza 5 de Mayo, caught fire at noon on Wednesday, January 4. The incident occurred on the third floor of the building.

According to the Meritorious Fire Department of the Republic of Panama (BCBRP), they received the alert at 12:09 noon from the National Police, for which they immediately dispatched the units from Calidonia, Plaza Amador and Balboa.

Major Ángel Delgado, director of Related Calamities of the BCBRP, explained that the apartment suffered severe damage and was inhabited but no fatalities or injuries were reported.

He stressed that upon arrival at the place they began with the search and rescue operations of the people who live in this property, he said that investigations have already begun to find out the causes of this incident.
