Dvicio and his labyrinth arrive in Caracas

They are convinced that first times are always special, which is why they want their first visit to Caracas to be a party. Dvicio arrives in Venezuela as part of his tour a thousand timeswith whom he wants to return to his origins and connect with the public through his musical style.

“For many years we have been receiving many messages from Venezuelan fans and the truth is that we have high expectations,” says Luis Gonzalvo, drummer of the group.

After the pandemic, returning to the stage has been reconnecting with the public. For this reason, they thank the fans for the acceptance they have had. The labyrinth, his new album. In the search to connect with their beginnings without neglecting the new, they decided to risk something that they had not visited before and they did so, they say, from maturity.

Before finishing The labyrinth collaborated with other artists. However, they chose to put their songs first and that is how they start to create new songs. 40 songs came out of that creative process and then they had another stage that was choosing only 12, something they described as a difficult moment. “We were doing different collaborations and a lot of songs. In some way we wanted to put a stop to that wheel, to that way of making music. We canceled all collaborations and started writing songs from the inside,” Gonzalvo explained.

The connection of «A thousand times» with Dvicio

Of those themes, there are three that they consider to have had a connection with them: «Art», «I think of you every hour» and «A thousand times». «The nice thing about ‘A thousand times’ is that it begins in a very minimalist way with a Spanish guitar and then in the choruses the band enters with a lot of energy. It is one of the songs that I like to play the most”, emphasizes Ignacio Gotor “Nacho”, guitarist.

For Dvicio, the way to achieve the success that they had struggled to find is within them. «We feel very identified with the music we are making right now. The most beautiful thing is to feel comfortable with the music you are making. It is the case of what is not happening and comes from within and not so much seeing numbers and more”, commented Martín Ceballos, bassist.

During this tour they want the public to accompany them for what they are and not for a musical style with which they do not feel comfortable. «There are always nerves when you make a new album. But the truth is that we knew that it was something that he was going to like because it is not that we were doing something totally different, “says Ceballo.
