Central government authorities and subnational entities they have to seek unity and stop the political confrontation in the country, said the president of the National Federation of Mining Cooperatives of Bolivia (Fencomin), Willy Choque.
The leader, during the XXVII Ordinary Congress of the sector, which concluded this Friday in Tarija, expressed his concern about the current political and judicial situation in the country.
“All Bolivians before thinking about a political party you have to think about our countryin the way we should move forward because the matches are momentary, and we have to think about the future of our children and future generations,” he said.
He added that unity is the only mechanism to get ahead and seek the welfare of the country.
On the other hand, the leader of the mining cooperative sector clarified that the presence of President Luis Arce at the inauguration of the Ordinary Congress is due to an invitation made to him because he is an elected authority and not because of party affinity.
Arce participated in a sector march, which took place in the run-up to the Ordinary Congress.
Regarding justice in Bolivia, Choque affirmed that, in some cases, it is “disguised” and must change its judicial actions to regain credibility.
“It is necessary to change the structure of justice because it has to be for everyone equally and cut with the same scissors“Choque responded when asked if a referendum could transform justice.
At least 4,200 delegates from various mining cooperatives in the country participate in the XXVII Ordinary Congress, which began last Wednesday and ended this Friday afternoon at the Guadalquivir Coliseum.
