During the carnival, the Tocumen Airport will mobilize more than 117 thousand passengers

The Tocumen International Airport plans to mobilize more than 117,000 passengers from February 12 to 27 for the carnival festivities. Passenger traffic during this holiday season doubles the number of travelers during normal operation.

The perspective drawn by the Tocumen Airport places February 13, 17 and 18 as the days with the highest outflow of passengers and February 12, 21, 22 as the days with the highest arrival flow.

According to data provided by the Passenger Experience Management, some 59,256 passengers will arrive in the country, while from the Tocumen International Airport some 57,977 people will travel to different destinations in South America, North America and the Caribbean.

Raffoul Arab General Manager of Tocumen International Airport pointed out that “We are executing a plan to make the passenger experience more comfortable and expeditious. We have the planned support of the authorities that operate at the airport.”

As these are dates of high passenger traffic, the administration of the air terminal recommends that, before moving to the airport, confirm your flight and itinerary, arrive at least 3 hours before departure and always keep in touch with your airline , which will allow fluency in the registration procedure and avoid any setbacks.

Also, it is suggested to carry the respective travel documentation in hand luggage and verify in advance the permits for travel by minors.
