Durazo’s government deals a blow to drug trafficking; seizes 400 kilos of coca

Hermosillo, Son., As a result of the coordinated strategy of the State Security Board, headed by Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño, an important blow was achieved against drug trafficking in the municipality of Caborca, with the seizure of 400 kilograms of cocaine and the arrest of one person.

The action was led by the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic, in coordination with elements of the 45th Military Zone, who seized the drugs distributed in 400 packages, in addition to securing a Kenworth brand tractor-trailer with two trailers used to transport the illicit cargo.

During the operation, Jared Antonio “N” was detained, who was placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Ministry, which will follow up on the corresponding investigations.

The seizure was carried out on federal highway number 2, in the Caborca-Sonoyta section, where security personnel detected the tractor-trailer; After an inspection, he located the drug hidden and camouflaged in boxes of frozen fish under high vacuum.

According to the investigations, the shipment’s transportation route was Chihuahua-Tijuana.

With these actions, the security cabinet reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the protection of the population and removing illicit substances that affect the safety and tranquility of Sonoran families from circulation.
