ANDhe Arbitration Center of the Grain and Feed Trade Association “GAFTA” rejected all the claims made by the American Dulon LLC in the arbitration that he filed against the Food Production Support Company (Emapa), reported the State Attorney General, Wilfredo Chávez.

The arbitration award issued by that English court rejected the payment of $15 million requested by the plaintiff; the replacement of $us 400,000 for the loss of deposit paid and $us 803,639 for prepaid freight; and lost profits of $3 million, damages related to reputation, legal costs of $800,000 and legal costs of $232,202.

On January 25, 2021, Duron LLC sued Emapa for an alleged breach of a purchase contract for 30,000 tons of wheat.

The defense of the State was, as in all cases, safeguarding its high interests, and therefore of the Bolivian people.
