Dual Resolution: Alienware Introduces the Brand’s First Monitor with Two Resolution Modes and Refresh Rate

Alienware – Dell Technologies’ high-performance gaming brand introduces its newest gaming monitor: the Alienware 27-inch dual 4K resolution (AW2725QF). The 2-in-1 model is coming soon and is designed to solve the dilemma that gamers of all styles face when choosing between high refresh rates and resolution.

Designed to give consumers the best of both worlds, the AW2725QF offers a native 4K (3840×2160) panel mode with a 180Hz refresh rate for visually intense gaming with graphics that push the limits of today’s technology, and another with the extremely fast speed of a native FHD (1920×1080) 360Hz panel for action-packed competitive gaming. Designed for both PC and consoles, the monitor allows you to switch between modes with a single button.

Two modes, no compromises

In 4K 180Hz mode, players get the most detailed experience with a pixel density of 163 pixels per inch. It is suitable for visually intense games such as RPGs and adventure games. FHD 360Hz mode prioritizes clarity and motion speed, perfect for fast-paced action games and highly competitive gamers.

Double resolution technology

This technology allows you to choose between 4K 180Hz or high-refresh FHD 360Hz mode. When the native 4K monitor switches to FHD mode, four pixels are combined into one, allowing the refresh rate to double to 360Hz. This technology ensures that gamers can choose between a higher refresh rate or higher resolution, depending on their preference in each game.

Performance and features

Intense colors and contrast: The AW2725QF delivers true-to-life images with 95% DCI-P3 color coverage and Delta E accuracy

Fluid action: Action-packed games stay smooth with crisp, flawless visuals thanks to NVIDIA® G-SYNC® and VESA AdaptiveSync certifications, while a 0.5ms grayscale response time* reduces ghosting and blurring.

Console Compatibility: High-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 FRL enables up to 4K@120Hz with compatible games on consoles (up to 4K@180Hz on PC), while Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) enable a highly responsive console experience. eARC support connects with high-resolution external speakers, including Dolby Atmos speakers and soundbars, making the user experience even more immersive.

The Alienware 27 4K Dual Resolution Gaming Monitor (AW2725QF) will be available soon in Panama. Pricing will be announced at launch date.
