Cicpc agents arrested Daniel José Marcano Sarmiento (26) accused of murdering a colleague by throwing him off a cliff.
According to the information published in the Cicpc Instagram sitethe victim is identified as Jhonalber Geraldis Blanco Velazco (38), murdered in the El Recreo parish, Caracas.
On the day of the incident, the victim was drinking alcoholic beverages in the company of Daniel, when they had an argument. In the middle of the fight, Daniel pushed Jhonalber, who fell into a five-meter-high cliff, which caused multiple injuries to his body, and he was taken to the Doctor Domingo Luciani hospital, where he died.
Marcano’s arrest occurred in El Paraíso, Caracas, where upon verification by the Police Investigation and Information System it was revealed that he had a police record for generic theft. The subject was handed over to the 98th Prosecutor’s Office for the Protection of Human Rights and Gender Diversity.
