The murder of Prosecutor Pecci leaves a series of lessons about what should be done to go to the bottom of the matter. Paraguay is becoming a strategic hub for the passage of drugs from the northern part of South America, and with markets destined for Europe.

The task is really very suspicious, it seems that there is no will to combat this problem that permeates our institutions and has a truly pernicious effect on all of Paraguayan social life.
We have already had several examples of hired assassins in the Paraguayan capital and in nearby points.
There is a growing number of criminal and delinquent acts related to the issue of drugs in all Asuncion neighborhoods, and we do not want to be aware of the problem, we do not react from the structure of the State -which is nothing other than the legally organized nation- in these types of cases.
People always believe that it will not touch them as long as they are not involved in this type of inconvenience, when that is a logic that is not really applied in any country that has gone through a similar experience.
We are “Colombianizing” some say, others affirm that “Mexicanization” is already permanent among us and the main cause is that we do not have solid and firm institutions that work to prevent the country from being flooded with its fetid odor and, fundamentally, with lead and blood.
