At around 7:00 p.m., this Saturday, June 10, the precautionary hearing of a National Customs official, involved in the investigation of the drug flight case. To date there are seven people in preventive detention, of which five are officials and two are courier owners.
It was learned that Lenny RL arrived at the end of the afternoon of this Saturday escorted, after being apprehended in the Felcc. This official was involved in the investigation for the shipment of almost half a ton of cocaine to Spain, on a Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) flight.
According to preliminary investigations, the Customs official was one of those in charge of the security cameras at the Viru Viru airport, so she had access to permanent monitoring.
The official appeared around noon on Thursday before the Anti-Narcotics Prosecutor’s Office and was apprehended there.
In the previous hearings, of the other defendants, the prosecutors indicated that the security cameras filmed the person in charge of Civil Aviation Security making “signals” to the operator of Boliviana de Aviación (Boa) Jorge WD (detained in Palmasola), for him to transport the box with controlled substances to the Airbus 330-243 plane of the company Wamos Airwhich Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) contracted to transport the cargo to Spain.
In the images collected by the Prosecutor’s Office, the BoA operator is observed leaving the flat called Cala Cala to drag another load with the vehicle called Papamóvil, which supposedly had the 478 kilos of drugs that arrived at the Barajas airport in Madrid.
These elements were assessed by the Ninth Precautionary Criminal Investigation Judge, Roberto Arias, who ordered the preventive detention for a period of 90 days for the airport security manager for considering his alleged authorship in the three accused crimes.
For this case called drug flight there are already seven people detained in the Palmasola prison: Captain Carmelo CCG, in charge of dogs at the Viru Viru airport; Juan Carlos VR, civil security officer; Jorge WD, BoA operator; Diego V.U, BoA official; Freddy Ch.G., BoA official; Ronald Marcelo C., worker of the courier company José María de Santa Cruz; Maribel R.A., legal representative of this Courrier company.
While the owner of the courier company José María de Santa Cruz, Carolina Adelaida CR (Ronald Marcelo’s wife and Maribel’s daughter) was released.
