The state company Ancap will donate pumps to OSE, as well as fuel and fodder to rural producers for alleviate the drought crisisas reported at a press conference on Thursday.
The pumps have been from Alur since 2009, submersible, and were made available to OSE. Two of them have already been raised by the state service.
“These pumps that have been in this situation, in Alur sheds since 2009, for the moment in a bailout action with OSE, are going to have an action that will be on society and very important over time,” he said Diego Durán, vice president of Ancap, at the conference.
They are industrial pumps, which will allow “very important” pumping, he said.
OSE will handle the installation.
Ancap will also donate 10,000 liters of diesel to Defense so that the machinery can be used in the field. Livestock feed will also be donated for three months. It will loan six cisterns in trucks, so that OSE can take drinking water where it is needed.
