President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said that the approval of his government, recently pointed out by polls, was planned, as the government has not yet made the promised deliveries.
He, however, assured that these deliveries will be made, since, in the two years of the current term, he has done more, in terms of preparation, than in his previous mandates.

“I told Pimenta not to worry about research because the people are right. We are not delivering what we promised. So how will the people talk about the government well if we are not delivering. It takes a lot of patience, ”he added, amid justifications for having no greater concern for research in the early periods of government.
The president also made an analysis of the expectation of the population after an election. According to him, the people “have a lot of expectation and are very quiet.” But from the second year of a government, he explained, the population begins to have a greater view of the fulfillment or not of these expectations.
In Lula’s evaluation, government evaluation research must be analyzed from a perspective of acting in the necessary corrections in the public administration. But, according to the president, it is still too early to reach conclusions about how the situation will be in 2026, when the election period will begin.
“I want to remember that I left the presidency with 87% [avaliações em] Good and great. I am aware of what we are doing, but I am very aware of the things I say to you. Every thing I say, we will deliver, ”Lula said by saying that he will do more in this government than he did in the previous ones.
