According to the Union of Drivers and Collectors, public transport companies will be able, until 11:59 pm today, to present a new proposal – which could prevent the strike, if it meets the workers’ demands.

“At first, the employers’ sector insisted on offering only 10% of readjustment and still in installments. Now, they offered the 12.47%, but only from October [de 2022]which is unacceptable”, highlighted the acting president of the union, Valmir Santana da Paz, known as Sorriso.

According to the TRT, in the event of a strike, workers must comply with the injunction issued by the court determining the guarantee of circulation of 80% of the workforce during peak hours (6 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 7 pm) and 60% in other periods. . In case of non-compliance, there will be a daily fine of R$ 50 thousand.
