Driver mobilizes firefighters and rescues a dog that fell into a drainage channel

At 10:00 this Tuesday, José Carlos Salazar was doing an Uber race when observed how a puppy fought against sewage and tried to get to the surface. Despite her efforts, she was unable to reach the causeway. The scene took place in the drainage channel of El Trompillo Avenue and the second ring road in the capital of Santa Cruz.

Salazar left the passenger at his destination and, without thinking, returned to the place. The puppy was still there. He asked a gas station worker for help, pBut they couldn’t rescue the animal.. Meanwhile, the rain continued to fall in the city and the water level was rising in the canal.

Not being able between the two, they went to the Fire Department of the Police who “immediately moved to the scene”Salazar tells the program “Here I am”, hosted by journalist Linda González and broadcast on EL DEBER Radio.
