Santiago. The driver of a public transport vehicle that collided with an SUV on Mirador Yaque Avenue (Circunvalación Sur) died while being treated at the José María Cabral y Báez Regional University Hospital.
The victim was identified as Francisco Reyes Hernandez, 56 years old, a concho driver on Route M.
The accident occurred in Ensanche Libertad, in the main municipality of Santiago de los Caballeros, and left eight people injured.
In another incident, authorities are investigating the death of a woman found hanged in her residence in the El Dorado residential area in the municipality of Santiago de los Caballeros, for which her partner is being investigated.
The victim was identified as Rudelania Pérez Marte, 32 years old.
Finally, in the Los Gajitos community of the municipality of Constanza in the province of La Vega, an eight-year-old girl died after falling into a well.
