DR will host the meeting of JCI national presidents of America 2023

The International Junior Chamber (JCI) in the Dominican Republic reported that from February 8 to 11 the country will host the Meeting of National Presidents where more than 30 leaders from the same number of countries will meet to align goals and outline common objectives for youth from America.

JCI reported that it is a large-scale event, which welcomes the most important leaders of the 21 organizations where JCIn has a presence in America, representing: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dutch Caribbean (Curaçao , Saint Martin and Aruba), Ecuador, the United States, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela and West Indies (Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana , Port of Spain (Trinidad), Saint Vincent, Tobago), as well as the international officials who preside over the organization worldwide, where the World President Viktor Ómarsson, from Iceland, will be accompanying with his participation.

The director of the event and international official, Yohemmy Martínez, indicated that they are very committed to working on the development of this event in our country, where Santo Domingo will host it from February 8 to 11, 2023, at the Hotel Catalonia Santo Domingo. .

He specified that the objectives pursued by this event are to promote interaction between the national organizations of America, in addition to preparing the National Presidents in common goals and objectives.

This meeting is under the responsibility of the JCI American Development Council (ADC), led by the young Dominican and JCI World Vice President Bolívar Batista. And, on this occasion, JCI Dominican Republic has the honor of hosting such an important and relevant event for the 2nd time in the American continent together with its National President, Marinel Canela, at the hands of the local organization JCI’80, INC ., led by Yamilca Alvarado.

JCI has been active in the Dominican Republic since 1963 and throughout the world since 1915. JCI is a global movement with more than 160,000 young member leaders represented in national organizations in more than 120 countries around the world.
