Santo Domingo. – He Ministry of Labor announced this Wednesday the calendar of Holidays corresponding to the year 2026in compliance with the Law 139-97which regulates the transfer of festivities that coincide with working days of the week.
The legislation, in force since June 1997, establishes that holidays that fall Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday They can be moved to the nearest mondaywith the aim of promoting internal tourism and labor planning. These guidelines should be applied in all establishments in the country.
