Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic This Sunday he expressed his condolences to South Korea for him plane crash that left 179 dead after a plane exploded after skidding off the runway and hitting a wall in the muan airport290 kilometers southwest of Seoul.
“The Dominican Government expresses its condolences to the Republic of Korea for the tragic accident of the airliner. Jeju Air in Seoul occurred this Sunday, which has caused the loss of human lives,” the Foreign Ministry of the Caribbean country wrote in a statement.
Likewise, he extended his solidarity towards the relatives of the victims of the worst air tragedy in South Korea.

The accident, in which only two people survived, occurred around 9-03 local time (00-03 GMT), when the plane, a Boeing 737-800who had left before Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (Thailand)landed at its destination, at the Muan airport, and crashed into the fence after going off the runway.
The Muan control tower issued an alert for collision six minutes before landingwhich occurred without the plane activating the landing gear and other braking mechanisms.
Four minutes before the fatal landing the captain issued the signal “may Day” either reliefand images captured by amateurs and eyewitness accounts detail an apparent impact on the Boeing’s right engine.
Among the 181 people on board, there were the pilot, the co-pilot and four flight attendants as well as 175 passengers, of whom 173 were South Korean and two were Thai.
