The Dominican Republic will host next week the First Face-to-Face Meeting of the Joint Working Group for the Promotion of TradeInvestments and Productive Chain, between the country and the Member States of the Southern Common Market (Mercosur)reported the Dominican Foreign Ministry in a statement.
The Ministry of External relationships will host on November 21 the representatives of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Dominican officials will participate in the meeting to follow up on an initiative of the president Luis Abinader to deepen ties in commercial matters, investments and seek complementarity with the mercosur.
The agenda includes a panel on the Opportunities in the Dominican Republic – mercosurwhich will be inaugurated by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Mipymes, Víctor -Ito- Bisonó who will speak about business opportunities and success in terms of investment foreign direct due to “the high levels of confidence” registered by the country.
This visit is coordinated by the Vice Ministry for Economic Affairs and International Cooperation and its head, Hugo Francisco Rivera, together with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Mipymes and ProDominicana.
