A Cuban couple was shot to death in Warren County and the main suspect, also Cuban, committed suicide hours later.
MADRID, Spain.- A double homicide followed by suicide that occurred in the state of Missouri has shocked the Cuban community residing in the United States. The events occurred on the night of December 29, 2025 in Warren County, where two people were found dead after being shot multiple times, local authorities reported.
According to a statement from Major Case Squad of Greater St. LouisWarren County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded around 8:35 p.m. to an emergency call for a “man down” near the intersection of South Stracks Church Road and State Highway M. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located two victims with gunshot wounds, who died at the scene despite attempts to render aid.
The victims were later identified by local media as Yeisir Buster Concepción, 42, and Elizabeth Hernández-Sánchez, 33. According to the investigation, both were in a romantic relationship.
After the double homicide, investigators released the description of a vehicle of interest linked to the case. Hours later, around 3:00 am on December 30, the car was located in the town of Foristell. When the officers tried to contact the driver, he pulled out a firearm, shot himself and died at the scene. The murderer, identified as Randys Miguel Ramírez Díaz, was Hernández’s ex-husband.
The Major Case Squad confirmed that no officers or civilians were reported injured during the operation and that the investigation continues under the jurisdiction of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. The authorities are working to completely clarify the sequence of events and the possible motive for the crime.
