After Juan José Dorado Gonzales left El Trompillo airport in the plane registration number CP-3172, piloted by Ernesto Cortes Tomas, his father, José Gary Fernando Dorado Castro, began a pilgrimage in search of information that would lead him to his son, with the slogan to find him alive or dead.

He confirmed that my son left as a passenger on Thursday bound for a place called Cupesí. He provided us with the cell phone number 63466613, which was for reference in the flight plan.”
Juan José’s father reported that on that occasion he also spoke with the owner of the CIA 101 piloting school, where his son studied. He revealed that the man told him that I didn’t know anything about Juan José. He also pointed out that he had not seen him because when he finished his studies the relationship with the school ended.
Fateful call from the lawyer

Dorado Castro pointed out that at around 7:30 at night he met with the lawyer, who initially said that he was in the north, but in the end they met in an office owned by Equipetrol.

They provided me with the phone number that was supposed to be on the hangar leases. However, coincidentally, the number corresponded to the lawyer Jorge Chavarría Hoyos, the same one who told me that my son was dead. I called him and asked him why he had the number of Mr. Luis Cuéllar, but he told me that he did not know and that surely there is a confusion because he was a lawyer for the civilian pilots”.
