In the next five years they will have 20 stores in Uruguay.

The Domino’s Pizza pizzeria chain is one of the most famous in the world and employs more than 290,000 people in more than 70 countries, to which is now added Uruguay, where 500 jobs.
The American firm created by the Monaghan brothers will open its first store on November 25. The restaurant will be located at Luis Alberto de Herrera between March 26 and Iturriaga, This will be their operations hub in the country and where they will prepare the dough for the pizzas that will be sold in other stores that they plan to open in the future.
According to the director general of Alsea Cono Sur, Santiago Farinati, El País will open three pizzerias before the end of the year, which will require an initial investment of US$2 million. In addition, between now and 2027 they plan to install 20 stores, possibly all of them in Montevideo.
Domino’s Pizza arrives in the country with its classic proposal. To make it, in principle, some products such as mozzarella and pepperoni will be imported so that the pizza ordered in Uruguay is “the same as the one you order in the United States.” For the medium term, the objective is to be able to use almost exclusively local products.
