Dominicans and tourists enjoy the carnival on the Malecón in Santo Domingo

Hundreds of Dominicans and tourists attend the Carnival of Santo Domingo and enjoy comparsas that represent the tradition of their towns

This Sunday the capital celebrates its traditional carnival on the Malecón de Santo Domingo in honor of the City of Santiago and in memory of Víctor-Vitico-Erarte.

At the cultural festival, which began at 3 in the afternoon, hundreds of Dominicans and tourists have come to enjoy the approximately 150 troupes that represent the traditions and stories of the country’s peoples and the color and flavor that characterize the Dominicans.
