Dominican writer launches book of chronicles about personalities

The Writer Marcelino Ozuna announced this Thursday the launch of his new book, “Lumbres del Autumn”, a series of chronicles on characters as varied as Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson, Robert De Niro or Diego el Cigala.

“It is a watercolor of personalities with whom I have somehow had links or, in other cases, have impacted my life,” Ozuna explained to Efe about his new work, which is released under the Editorial Funglode label.

The text also includes chronicles of other personalities such as the former Spanish judge Baltasar Garzón, the legendary American musician Charlie Parker, the former Peruvian president Alan García and the Dominicans Michel Camilo and José Alberto ‘El Canario’, among others.

It is a book “very emotional, more refined than the previous ones” and that brings together “exceptional people,” says Ozuna, also author of “Those loves of March” and “Loves that left.”

The work will go on the market from February 20, added the Writer and lawyer.

The former deputy prosecutor of the National District and former president of the Permanent Commission of National Ephemeris has published biographies, chronicles and essays on former Dominican presidents Leonel Fernández and Joaquín Balaguer, musician Michel Camilo and former Major League players Pedro Martínez and Sammy Sosa.
