Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Cundry Aquino van He accepted before the judges of the Second Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) be voluntarily extradited to the Netherlandsto answer for the Drug trafficking imputation.
This happened after he signed the extradition request made by the authorities of that nation, to be prosecuted by the traffic chargesimport and distribution of controlled substances.
The High Court, chaired by Judge Francisco Jerez, issued a preventive detention against Aquino Van, to be fulfilled in the Najayo Men’s correction and rehabilitation centeruntil the end of the extradition process, for its involvement in drug trafficking in Curazao.
A judge from the Netherlands had issued a arrest order against him, at the request of the prosecutor of Curacao, with the aim of judicially submitting it for the same positions.
Likewise, the magistrate ordered to send the resolution to the Executive Power, to issue the corresponding decree authorizing the delivery of Cundry Aquino van to the authorities of the Netherlands.
