Dominican Republic sends humanitarian aid to Lebanon

República Dominicana envía ayuda humanitaria al Líbano

SANTO DOMINGO.- The Government of the Dominican Republic recently sent a shipment of humanitarian aid to the Republic of Lebanon, following the events that affected part of that population.

It was explained in a press release that the aid consisted of 250 boxes of medical supplies, which was managed and coordinated, on behalf of the Dominican government, by the concurrent Dominican ambassador to the Lebanese Republic, Elvis Alam Lora.

The donation was delivered to the authorities of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.

According to the statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, together with the embassy, ​​“are constantly aware of the safety of our fellow citizens, providing guidance and help individually to each of them, complying with the first axis of the foreign policy of our country, which is the protection of Dominicans abroad.”
