SANTIAGO.-A Dominican native of the Las Canas community, Villa Vásquez municipality, Montecristi province, was killed by two bullets last night by her romantic partner in the city of Rockport, Texas, United States.
According to Dr. Yorman Vásquez, on his digital portal Yorman reports, Yanira Liriano was murdered by two bullets by her romantic partner, the Cuban-American Alberto Sánchez, in a fit of jealousy while she was in her apartment in Rockport, Texas.
The couple had been married for more than 20 years and frequently visited the Dominican Republic.

The deceased was the daughter of the pastor Lucrecia de León and Don Pedro Liriano.
Relatives reported that his body will be brought to his hometown to give him a Christian burial.
It was not specified whether the lady had children with her romantic partner.
Texas police authorities reported that they arrested the perpetrator of the crime and that in the next few hours they will provide details of the event.
