Dominican exports exceed US$6,305 million

The CEO of CustomsEduardo Sanz Lovatón, reported that during the first semester of 2022 the exports Dominican women reached 6,305.25 million dollars, presenting a growth of 10.7% versus 2021.

He added that, in these six months, the monthly average exceeds 1,000 million dollars, “thus highlighting the resilience of our exports”.

The information was offered by the official through his Twitter account.

Regarding this sector, data from ProDominicana indicates that in June the exports totals reached 1,112.83 million dollars.

The exports They are led by the United States, with 537.51 million dollars, for a 48.3% share, followed by Switzerland, with 130.81 million dollars, for 11.75% of the total.

The other countries that are in the top 10 of the exports Dominican totals are: Haiti (8.9%), Puerto Rico (5.91%), the Netherlands (3.91%), South Korea (2.29%), China (2.13%), Belgium (1.15%), Germany (1.04%) and United Arab Emirates (1.01%).

The main export products during June are: gold, including platinum gold, raw, for non-monetary use (excludes powder), with 130.59 million dollars; “pure” cigarettes, including blunt and “purito” cigarillos, containing tobacco, with a total of 94.73 million dollars; followed by medical, surgical or veterinary instruments and devices with 81.01 million dollars; and circuit breakers, for a voltage <= 1,000 V with a participation of 74.19 million dollars, among others.
